Nowadays families spend a lot of time in their cars. This often results in many different spills and stains. This means you need to find a way to clean the upholstery of your car. Driving around in a clean car will be more pleasant. Stains from liquids end up all over your car. As quickly as you can try and soak up any excess liquid. 
 
Find some spray upholstery cleaner at a local auto parts shop or online retailer. Spray some on the stain and give it a few minutes to work. Then scrub the stain using a small brush. A clean cloth can be used to dry the area. You may need to repeat this process a few times before you get the desired results. 
 
Shaving cream might work to remove a small stain if you cannot find any car upholstery cleaners in your garage. Do not rub an ink stain which is on your car upholstery. This will just smear the ink and make the stain bigger. Spray the area with hairspray after gently blotting away excess ink. 
 
Wipe the area with clean dry towels after it has had time to sit. It may take a couple of times to remove the stain. Rubbing alcohol will sometimes work for removing ink stains as well. The best way to remove lipstick stains is with white non-get toothpaste. Rub the stain gently with the toothpaste and then wipe it with a clean damp cloth. 
 
Families with kids often end up with crayon marks on the car upholstery. First be sure to scrape off as much of the excess crayon as possible using a dull knife or the edge of a metal spoon. Spray it will a small amount of WD-40 and let it sit. Use a brush to remove the stain and then wipe the area clean. If the stains refuse to come out then it may be time to rent a professional hot water extraction system.
