Buying from an Older Person
If there are senior citizen areas near where you live it is definitely worth checking them out for car deals. Many times they have bulletins where they can post information to. Many times they make car selling announcements posted here.
The benefit to buying from an older person is that they hardly drive anywhere. The car they are selling is like brand spanking new. They generally just drive to the store and back home. There are no hard miles on the car.
Also of interest is the fact that they probably are not selling for any kind of profit. In most cases their son or daughter are selling for them and they just want a quick, fast and simple sell without any lose ends.
The only problem to this kind of option is it is a hit or miss deal. Timing is important and when you need a car may not be a time to find a car from someone older.
